The start and finish are on grass and the course runs on a mixture of tarmac, gravel path, grass and sand. The start and finish lines are located within the centre of the racecourse. The events are chip-timed.
Entry is open to people aged 16 and over. Published entry prices are £17.49 and a lower rate of £11.00 for children. A minimum fundraising target of £50.00 applies.
Event parking is available at the racecourse and can be accessed via the main drive; drop offs may be made in the main car park. Blue Badge parking and volunteer parking are available at the racecourse. Pedestrian access to the site is approximately 400 m from the main drive. Bus services that serve the area include the 620 and 320; the nearest train station is Newton-le-Willows. There are no electric vehicle charging points and no cycle racks on site.
Available facilities include refreshments, toilets, pushchair access and parking. Dogs are not allowed. The route has been assessed as not wheelchair accessible due to the terrain. Sunflower wristbands are available at the enquiries marquee and British Sign Language stage content is accessible via a QR code on the main event site.
