Wirral Coast 5-miler
The Wirral Coast 5-miler is scheduled for Sunday 25 January 2026 and is based at The Derby Pool, Bay View Drive, Wallasey CH45 3QS. The event is a flat, fast out-and-back road race along the Wirral coast beside the Irish Sea covering a distance of 5 miles. The route starts in New Brighton, passes the Gunsite at Leasowe Bay, then returns along the promenade to the finish.
Race facilities include on-site toilets at the start and finish, a water station on the course and at the finish, chip timing via Nifty Entries, a bespoke RaceWirral/Wirral Coastal medal and a goody bag for participants. Number collection is on the day at the event tent. Parking is available near the venue.
Entry details on the event page list the age range for entries as 12 to 89 on the race date and an entry fee of £25 plus a booking fee. Transfers are accepted and refunds were allowed until Monday 12 January under the published refund policy.
