Wirral Coast 5-miler 2027

The Wirral Coast 5-Miler is a flat, fast out and back road race along the Wirral coast beside the Irish Sea. The course starts in New Brighton, passes the Gunsite at Leasowe Bay and returns along the promenade to the finish. The advertised distance is 5 miles.

The event is based at The Derby Pool, Bay View Drive, Wallasey CH45 3QS. Organiser details are given as Race Wirral. Entry for the 5 Miler is open to those aged 12 and over; the standard entry fee is £25. Transfers are accepted up to 6 January. Remaining places were listed as 298 at the time of posting.

On-site facilities include toilets at the start and finish, parking and a water station on the course and at the finish. Timing is by chip through Nifty Entries. All participants receive a bespoke RaceWirral/Wirral Coastal medal and a goody bag. Young participants under 18 and vulnerable participants are required to be supervised by a legal parent or guardian while on the course.
