Wirral 10K
The Wirral 10K takes place on 11 October 2026 with the start and finish area on Coastal Drive at Ian Fraser Walk, New Brighton. The route follows the waterfront toward Seacombe Ferry Terminal, where runners perform a U-turn and return to New Brighton.
The course is described as generally flat and fast and reaches the 5 km point near the Seacombe Ferry Terminal. Runners on the outward leg obtain a clear view of the Liverpool city skyline. The event has a cap of 750 entries.
Entrants must be 15 years or over on race day. Race packs are sent out approximately three weeks before the event. Competitors with a postal address outside mainland UK can collect their race number from the enquiry tent on race morning; race number information will be provided closer to the event.
Included for finishers are chip timing, a finisher T-shirt, an exclusive medal, and a finisher’s goody bag. Race results are normally available shortly after the event and competitors who supplied a mobile number may receive a text with their time. Use of listening devices is discouraged in line with UKA guidance.
On race day access to the start and finish area is via Harrison Drive/A554; parking is available on Coastal Drive and parts of New Brighton are closed to traffic for the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
