Event overview
The Wirral 10K is scheduled for 11 October 2026 in New Brighton. The event is organised by BTR Liverpool and is open to entrants aged 15 and over on the event date. Entry fees are listed between £27 and £29.
Course and location
The start and finish area is on Ian Fraser Walk, New Brighton, behind the main supermarket car park and near the Bubbles Play facility. The route is described as largely flat and heads toward the 5K point. The halfway point is just before the Seacombe Ferry terminal, and the outward section provides views of the Liverpool city skyline.
Logistics
On race day the south end of New Brighton is closed to traffic, and event access is via Harrison Drive. Race day parking is available on Coastal Drive. Directions from the M53, Junction 1, follow the A554 towards New Brighton and follow the roundabout exits to Harrison Drive and then Coastal Drive, where the start and finish area is located near the car park.
