Wirral 10K, New Brighton

The Wirral 10K is a road race along the New Brighton waterfront with a start and finish area on Ian Fraser Walk / Coastal Drive. The course follows the promenade toward Seacombe Ferry Terminal, reaches the 5K area near the ferry, then uses a turning point at the terminal for the return to New Brighton. The halfway point is located just before the Seacombe Ferry Terminal.

The route is described as generally flat and fast. Race day access to the start and finish is from the north via the A554 and Harrison Drive, with race day parking available on Coastal Drive; the south end of New Brighton is closed to traffic on race day.

Entrants must be at least 15 years old on race day. Entry is capped at 750 participants. Race packs are sent approximately three weeks before the event. Competitors with a postal address outside mainland UK can collect their race number from the enquiry tent on race morning; they will be contacted by email beforehand.

Included with entry are chip timing, a finisher T shirt, an exclusive medal and a finisher’s goody bag. The organiser operates a no refund, deferral or entry transfer policy. In line with UKA guidance, the use of listening devices is discouraged and left to individual discretion. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
