Wirral 10K
The Wirral 10K takes place on 11.10.2026 in New Brighton. The race distance is 10 km and the start and finish area is located on Coastal Drive at Ian Fraser Walk.
The course follows the waterfront out toward Seacombe Ferry Terminal, where runners perform a U-turn and return toward New Brighton. The halfway point is just before the Seacombe Ferry Terminal. The route is described as generally flat and fast.
Entrants must be 15 years or older on race day. The event has a cap of 750 runners. Race packs are sent out about three weeks before the event. Entrants with a postal address outside mainland UK can collect their race number at the enquiry tent on race morning and will be contacted by email beforehand.
Included items listed by the organiser are chip timing, a finisher goody bag, a finisher T-shirt and an event medal. Race results are normally available shortly after the event and entrants who provided a mobile number may receive a text alert with their time. The organiser operates a no refund, deferral or transfer policy. There is no obligation to raise money for charity.
On race day the south end of New Brighton is closed to traffic. Access to the start and finish area is from the north via the A554 and Harrison Drive; race day parking is available on Coastal Drive. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
