Wirral 10K, New Brighton
The Wirral 10K is a coastal road race held on 11 October 2026 with the start and finish area on Ian Fraser Walk / Coastal Drive in New Brighton. The course runs out along the waterfront toward Seacombe Ferry Terminal, where runners perform a U-turn to return to New Brighton. The route is described as generally flat and fast, with the halfway point just before the Seacombe Ferry Terminal and notable views of the Liverpool city skyline on the outward leg.
Entrants must be 15 years or older on race day. Entry is capped at 750 participants. Race packs are dispatched approximately three weeks before the event. Entrants with a postal address outside mainland UK can collect their race number from the enquiry tent on race morning; they will be emailed with further instructions prior to the event.
Included with entry are chip timing, a finisher’s goody bag, a finisher T-shirt made from technical fabric, and an exclusive medal for finishers. Race number information will be provided closer to the event. BTR Liverpool operates a no refund, deferral or entry transfer policy. On race day the south end of New Brighton is closed to traffic; access to the start and finish is via Harrison Drive and the A554 from the M53, junction 1, with race day parking available on Coastal Drive.
