Wired to Run 5K - Waco, TX
Wired to Run is a charity 5K held in Waco on June 6, 2026, that benefits the NTX WiNUP Chapter. A portion of the event proceeds will support The Cove, a local nonprofit that provides meals, hygiene services, tutoring, and emergency housing support for youth experiencing homelessness.
The event is chip timed and lists an entry fee of $35 for the 5K walk/run. Participants who register by April 25, 2026 are guaranteed a shirt and finisher medal. Packet pick up is located in front of the bandshell pavilion on race morning, and awards are presented in the same area after the event.
The course begins and ends at the Brazos Park East bandshell pavilion at 3516 N. MLK Jr. Blvd, Waco, Texas. It is organized as a down-and-back route with two water stations positioned along the course.
Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each age division: 5-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
