Event Overview
The Winter Winds Road Races are held in Huntsville, Alabama, at the Sandra Moon Community Complex. The event is presented by the Huntsville Track Club and is part of their Grand Prix series.

The event offers separate race distances.
- 2 mile race
- 4 mile race Both courses are USATF certified and are designated as state age record eligible.
A free 1/2 mile Fun Run is also held, which takes place in the parking lot behind the school.
Awards
Awards are given for the top male and female overall finishers, as well as top masters (40+) finishers. Age group awards are also presented.
Logistics
Race registration is priced at $20 for the 2 mile and 4 mile events. Packet pickup and late registration are available on the day before the race at Fleet Feet Sports in Huntsville. On race day, packet pickup is available at the race site starting at 1:00 PM. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
