Event overview
The Portland Winter Solstice Fun Run takes place on Sunday 21 June 2026 and is organised by the Portland Runners Club. Registration is open up until race day and on-the-day entries are accepted. The event donates $2 per entry to Beats Cycle for Hope. Courses are not suitable for prams or dogs. A free 1km kids run is held at the Ploughed Field.

Distances and entry fees:
- Irish Mad Mile - new town-centre mile event, entry fee $20
- 1 km Kid's Dash - free, at the Ploughed Field
- 9 km Lagoon & Foreshore - entry fee $40
- 15 km Lighthouse to Lighthouse - entry fee $60
- 25 km Lighthouse to Lighthouse - Trail - entry fee $80
Course maps and detailed routes are available for each race. Buses and bib collection operate from the Ploughed Field (across from the hospital). Courses close at 12:30pm; the 25 km race has a four-hour cutoff. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
