Winter Challenge Day 1 2027
Winter Challenge Day 1 takes place on Saturday 23 January 2027 and is organised by Running Events Devon. The event is a timed participation format with a defined event window and an official cutoff time for finishing; participants may start at any time within that window.
The course is an accurately measured road loop run entirely on tarmac along a scenic out-and-back route on an old disused train line. Each lap measures 5.3 km. The route is classified as Road and is described as undulating.
Entry is limited to a maximum of 75 participants. Minimum age for entry is 18 years. Entries close on 22/01/2027. There are different entry categories with and without event perks, and finishers who complete at least one lap within the permitted time are eligible to collect a medal. If the event reaches capacity, later entrants may receive a bespoke medal chosen from those available on the day.
