Winter Magic 5k, 10k, 15k & Half Marathon : Long Beach, January 30, 2027
The Winter Magic races take place along the Long Beach shoreline on the Long Beach Shoreline Path at 5400 E Ocean Blvd, Long Beach, CA 90803. The course is an open, flat route consisting of marked out and back loops on the beach path; participants should be courteous to other pedestrians, runners, and cyclists.
Distances
- 5k out and back on the beach path
- 10k two 5k loops
- 15k three 5k loops
- Half marathon three 4.36-mile loops
An aid station at the turnaround near the start/finish provides water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and GU gels. Live results are available at finish, and photo and video services include free photos found by bib and cinematic race highlight reels.
Registration includes a custom finisher medal, drawstring goodie bag, live results, free videos, and age group awards that must be picked up at the race and will not be mailed. The organizer offers trophies, achievement badges, an Ascend Index ranking, Ascend Crew features, and a free event app. An assortment of snacks and samples is provided on race day.
Transfers are allowed only by contacting the organizer; there is a no refund policy. Volunteers may receive a free race entry. Race-day registration options are accepted and listed by the organizer; posted race-day prices are 5k $35, 10k $40, 15k $45, half marathon $50. Parking is free in nearby residential areas; beach parking requires payment by machine or the Passport Parking app (zone 9372). Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
