Winter Magic 5k, 10k, 15k & Half Marathon : Long Beach, January 30, 2027
The event offers four distances along the Long Beach shoreline path at Belmont Shores, with a course made of marked out-and-back loops on a flat beach path. The route includes turnaround points that serve as aid stations supplying water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and Gu gels. Course maps are provided for the 5k and the half marathon loop configuration.

Registration includes a custom finisher medal, drawstring goodie bag, free race videos, live results at finish, age group awards to be picked up at the race only, free photos tied to each bib, cinematic race highlight reels, trophies and achievement badges, an Ascend Index ranking, Ascend Crew features to follow friends, and a free event app to track races, photos, and videos. An assortment of snacks and samples is available for participants. Volunteer opportunities can be exchanged for a free race entry.
The event notes group discounts for three or more participants with automatic application, and additional group discount arrangements for larger groups through the organizer. Transfers are handled only through the organizer and there is a no refund policy. The half marathon has a 3 hour 15 minute time limit.
