Wings for Life World Run Vancouver Seawall
This is an app run held on the Vancouver Seawall with a meeting point at the entrance to Granville Island beside the Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts. The event is accessible for wheelchair participants and includes a local event setup.
The race uses the Wings for Life World Run format in which there is no fixed finish line. Competitors run while a Virtual Catcher Car follows the course and progressively closes the gap. Participation for the location relies on the Wings for Life World Run mobile app.
The route is an out and back along the seawall, with defined options and the possibility to turn back at any point for a shorter distance. The organizer plans to finish the local route near the Kitsilano Starbucks on Cornwall.
