Wings for Life World Run Ottawa
Wings for Life World Run in Ottawa brings together runners and wheelchair participants in a format without a fixed finish line. Competitors run to stay ahead of the Virtual Catcher Car, which begins after a set interval and gradually increases speed until the last participants are caught.
The local meeting point is Sylvia Holden Park at 641 O'Connor St, Ottawa. The route starts at Dow s Lake and follows the scenic pathway along the Rideau Canal. The course is mostly flat and paved, with water views and parkland sections that pass through a mix of urban and green spaces in the heart of Ottawa.
