Winfield's Tiger Run

The Winfield's Tiger Run is a community event held at Lions Park on Beecher Avenue in Winfield, Illinois. It offers several race distances.

Available distances are:

A 5K run.
A 1-mile fun run/walk.
A Kids Dash for children aged five and under.

The event is presented by the Winfield 34 PTO and the Winfield Education Foundation (WEF). Proceeds benefit the students and staff of Winfield School District #34. Winfield 34 students can register for free for the 5K or 1-mile event if they raise at least $25 in pledges. Prizes are awarded to the top three pledge earners.

Registration for the 5K and 1-mile events includes a race t-shirt for those who register by April 4, 2026. Age group awards are given for the 5K, and all Kids Dash participants receive a ribbon or medal. There is a pre-race packet pickup scheduled at the back entrance of Winfield Central School.
