Haunted Halloween Trail Run at Marjim Manor
The Haunted Halloween Trail Run is a Halloween-themed trail event held at The Winery at Marjim Manor in Appleton, New York on October 31, 2026. The race is organized by iRun WNY and takes place entirely on Marjim Manor property and adjacent land.
The course is a scenic single loop of approximately 3.3 miles, routed mainly on groomed trails and through Bittner/Singer apple orchards. Participants are encouraged to wear costumes; costume prizes will be awarded. Each participant may bring one grocery-size bag to take home apples provided by Bitner Singer Orchards.
Online registration is available up until race day and the entry fee is $35 through race day. Race entry includes a custom race shirt or an alternate gift if registered by October 23, 2026, professional timing and finish line services, post-race snacks and bottled water, music, and additional on-site amenities. Packet pickup occurs on race morning.
A post-race celebration at Marjim Manor will include scenic views, music, light food including homemade chili, scary stories, drink and wine specials, and possibly an outdoor bonfire. Handcrafted trophies will be presented to the overall male and female winners; age group awards will be recognized in standard age divisions. Free parking is available on site.
If organizers deem it necessary for safety or other reasons, the event may convert to a virtual 5K with no refunds. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
