Wine Run - Rossendale Wines, Christchurch
Wine Run takes place on Saturday 16 January 2027 at Rossendale Wines, 100 Old Tai Tapu Road, Kennedys Bush, Christchurch, New Zealand. The event is held within the vineyard and combines a run or walk with wine tastings, food, and evening entertainment.
The route is a two-lap course comprised of a 5 km lap, with an option to complete two laps for 10 km. Wine tastings and cheese and crackers are provided at roughly every kilometre along the route. Tasting wine at the stations is optional; participants may choose water or electrolyte drinks instead. Water and electrolyte stations are available around the course and at the finish.
The event is non competitive. Costume and spot prizes are awarded during the evening. A memorabilia Wine Run glass and a Wine Run Coin are provided at the finish; the coin can be redeemed at the bar for wine. The bar operates using Wine Run Coins which can be purchased at registration or on arrival; these coins are not refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or used with food vendors.
There is an evening cut off time for the run and walk. Transport options include pre arranged buses with specific pickup and drop off points, or personal vehicle parking on site.
