Wine at the Line
Wine at the Line is a run and walk event that starts and finishes at Mallow Run Winery and travels through the vineyards and surrounding countryside. The event offers two course options and includes participant and safety rules.
Distances offered:
- 5-Miler
- 5K
Pace requirements are specified: 5-Miler participants must maintain a pace of at least 12 minutes per mile (1 hour total). 5K participants must maintain a pace of at least 18 minutes per mile, which is approximately 1 hour total.
Walkers in the 5K are asked to start at the back of the crowd to avoid interfering with faster runners. Due to expected crowds, no pets or skates are permitted. Strollers are strongly discouraged; if a stroller is used the stroller must start at the back of the line. All children on the course, including those in a stroller, must be registered. Children under 8 years old are free.
Last year’s event drew nearly 2,000 runners, walkers and spectators. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
