About the race
The Windsor Trail Run takes place in Alexandra Gardens, Windsor, and offers trail races through a flat course with views of Windsor Castle. The event includes two distances:
- 10K
- Half Marathon
Entries include a unique themed medal, chip-timed results, free race photos and post-race goodies. A secure baggage marquee and bag-drop are provided, and water will be available on course and at the finish. Portable toilets will be located in the event village and race pack collection is available on the day.
The event supports Brain Research UK. Minimum ages are 15 years for the 10K and 17 years for the half marathon. Runners who expect to take longer than three hours for the half marathon should contact the organiser in advance to discuss any special arrangements.
There are plenty of town centre car parks a short walk from the event village; a limited paid parking option is listed at 7 Stovell Road for a fee. Windsor & Eton Central and Windsor & Eton Riverside stations are also a short walk from the event village. An optional event t-shirt is available as an extra.
