Windmill Half Marathon, Lytham St Annes
The Windmill Half Marathon takes place on Sunday 9 August 2026 and is staged along the Fylde Coast with start and finish on Lytham Green by Lytham Windmill. The route passes panoramic views of the Ribble Estuary and coastal stretches and is chip timed with UK Athletics licensing and course certification.
Entry is open to anyone aged over 17 on race day. Standard entry fees are listed as £32.00 with a reduced fee of £30.00 for UKA and ARC members. Online entry is available and no transaction or handling fee is charged for debit and credit cards. Bib collection and entries on the day are available from the registration area, which also houses the event facilities.
Event facilities include bib number collection, baggage storage, a secure key drop box, toilets, medical support and an event enquiry point. Water stations with bottled water and removed caps are placed at regular intervals on the course and at the finish. Medics patrol the course on bikes and are stationed at the finish. Portable toilets are available next to the start and finish and at marked points on the route. Results showing official event time and chip time are published shortly after the last competitor finishes.
