Windmill 10K Remembrance Day
The Windmill Remembrance Day 10 km is an annual road race held on Remembrance Sunday in Lytham St Annes, with the event headquarters on Lytham Green near the historic Lytham Windmill (FY8 5LD). The course is described as flat and is certified accurate by the Association of UK Course Measurers. The race is run under a full road closure and is licensed by Run Britain.
Chip timing is used for all participants and bespoke medals are provided to finishers. A Remembrance Day ceremony is held before the start. Free event photos are available for download after the race.
Race headquarters provides registration desks, an enquiry desk, toilets and baggage storage. There are no changing or showering facilities at the venue. On-road and pay and display parking is available nearby.
Entry is open to runners aged over 15 on the day. Published entry fees are £25.00 for standard entry and £23.00 for UKA/ARC entries. The organiser also offers group entry options and discounts for groups of four to ten runners. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
