About the race
The Windlesham Whip is the Worthing Harriers home race in the West Sussex Fun Run League. It takes place on Sunday 23rd August 2026 at Windlesham House School, London Rd, Washington RH20 4AY.
Entry options and conditions are stated by the organisers. The senior event is primarily open to registered members of UKA affiliated West Sussex Fun Run League clubs. Runners from non league clubs may be allowed on-the-day entry if the race has not sold out. The event limit is 400 runners. Entries open in June 2026 and close on Wednesday 19th August 2026, with entries managed through club registration.
Distances
- 1 mile Junior Race, £1 entry fee
- 5 miles Senior Race, £7 entry fee, £10 unaffiliated or on the day
The route is 7.5 km in total, mainly on trails with some concrete and tarmac sections, and about 130 m of elevation gain. The race is licensed by the Trail Running Association to run under UKA rules.
Facilities include toilets, first aid, refreshments and cake. Water refills will be available and reusable bottles are mentioned. Parking is limited; car sharing is encouraged to reduce congestion and carbon footprint. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
