Winchester Lakeside Triathlons
Winchester Lakeside Triathlons take place in Winchester, Tennessee, on September 19, 2026. The swim occurs in Tims Ford Lake, the bike courses use nearby highways, and the run finishes through town where participants receive a finisher medal. The event is presented by Personal Best Racing and Highpoint Health in partnership with Ascension Saint Thomas.
Race formats and course distances include:
- Sprint Triathlon: 300 yd swim, 13.5 mile bike, 3.1 mile run
- Olympic Triathlon: 1500 yd swim, 24.5 mile bike, 6.2 mile run
- Sprint Duathlon: 1 mile run, 14.5 mile bike, 3.1 mile run
- Olympic Duathlon: 1 mile run, 24.5 mile bike, 6.2 mile run
- Sprint Aquabike: 300 yd swim, 14.5 mile bike
- Olympic Aquabike: 1500 yd swim, 24.5 mile bike
- Relays: 2 or 3 person relay options for sprint and Olympic distances
Athena and Clydesdale weight class divisions are offered. The event is USA Triathlon sanctioned and therefore subject to USA Triathlon rules.
Personal Best Racing maintains a no refund policy with insurance available for purchase during registration. In the event of a natural or community disaster, decisions are made with local officials and safety as the priority; courses or race segments may be altered. Financially, the organizer states there will be no refunds or complimentary entries if an event is canceled or modified for reasons beyond their control.
