Event details
The Wilmslow Summer 10K is scheduled for 12 July 2026 in Wilmslow, SK9 1HG. The race is licensed by UKA and is a measured, certified 10K course (course number 23/287). Entry fees are stated as £27 for club runners and £29 for non-club runners. The minimum age for entry is 15 years. Entries close when the event reaches its limit or at midnight the night before the race; there will be no entries on the day and no official waiting list. Transfers are allowed free of charge to another person or to a virtual race entry that can be completed up to a month after race day. Refunds are not offered.
Course and race services
The event starts in Wilmslow town centre and finishes on the outskirts of Wilmslow Town Centre. The one-lap route runs on fully closed roads through residential streets and country roads, with mostly flat sections and one hill in the eighth kilometre. Chip timing is used and pacers are available from 35 to 80 minutes, with pacers every 2.5 minutes between 35 and 70 minutes. All finishers receive a bespoke medal; a commemorative technical finishers t-shirt is optional. The event provides bottled water, drinks stations at the halfway point and finish, bag drop with free baggage storage, toilets, first aid, post-race snacks, and downloadable race images.
