Wilmslow Autumn Triathlon
The Wilmslow Autumn Triathlon takes place on Sunday 19th September 2027 at Wilmslow Leisure Centre, Rectory Fields, Station Rd, Wilmslow SK9 1BU. Overall entries close Thursday 17th September 2027.
The event offers multiple race formats: Sprint, Double Sprint, Aquabike, Aquathlon, Duathlon and Relay. The swim takes place in an indoor heated pool with two distance options. The bike and run legs follow mainly suburban and open roads before returning to the leisure centre and use mixed terrain on the run. The transition area is located on Rectory Fields Cricket Pitch and guidance is provided for efficient transitions.
Distances:
- Swim 400 m or 800 m
- Bike 24.2 km (Sprint) or 48.4 km (Double Sprint)
- Run 6.3 km (Sprint) or 12.6 km (Double Sprint)
Participants must hold a race licence or purchase a single use Race Pass in addition to an event entry, or be a Core or Ultimate annual member of the national body.
Included for competitors are a medal, chip timed results, event photos, goody bags, prizes and access to showers and changing facilities. Spectator information notes viewing areas at the pool gallery, the transition hub and the finish arch, with paved walkways around transition and finish suitable for pushchairs and family access.
