Wilmslow Autumn Triathlon
The Wilmslow Autumn Triathlon takes place on Sunday 20th September 2026 at Wilmslow Leisure Centre, Station Rd, Rectory Fields, Wilmslow SK9 1BU. The event offers multiple multisport formats including Sprint, Double Sprint, Aquabike, Aquathlon, Duathlon and Relay teams.
Distances:
- Swim: 400 m or 800 m
- Bike: 19.65 km (Sprint) or 36.74 km (Double Sprint)
- Run: 6.3 km (Sprint) or 12.6 km (Double Sprint)
The swim is held in an indoor heated pool. The bike course was revised for October 2025 and combines suburban and rural roads around Morley Green and Mobberley; it is generally flat with a couple of small climbs. The run follows mixed terrain with modest gradients and is suited to standard running trainers. Transition procedures and practical tips are provided to help competitors organize their kit and racking.
Participants must hold a race licence, purchase a single-use Race Pass, or be a British Triathlon Core or Ultimate member. Race services include chip timing, medals, event photos, goody bags, prizes, showers and changing facilities, and local support from marshals and the community.
