Wilmington High School Alumni 2nd Annual 5K Run/Walk
The Wilmington High School Alumni 2nd Annual 5K Run/Walk is scheduled for Saturday, September 26, 2026, at the Charter School of Wilmington on North Dupont Road in Wilmington, Delaware. The event benefits graduating seniors from New Castle County high schools who are furthering their education.
Race options include a general 5K run/walk, a student 5K category, and a competitive walking 5K that requires participants to walk the entire course. Registration fees vary by category with a higher fee for day of event registration. Bibs are non transferable and registrations are non refundable.
Timing is provided by R2R Timing using the MYLAPS BibTag system. Overall top finishers and masters are scored by gun time while other age groups are scored by chip time. Awards include top overall male and female, top male and female masters, and medal awards for the top three male and female finishers in ten year age groups from 9 and under through 80 and over. Separate awards are given to top walkers.
