Event overview

The Williamsburg Winery 5k & 10k takes place on May 9, 2026 at Williamsburg Winery, 5800 Wessex Hundred, Williamsburg, VA. The event includes an in-person race and a virtual race option. Walkers are welcome. Points from the event count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k and Back of the Pack Series and toward the Sippin Series. The event benefits Vet First, an organization that hires veterans to grow organic food for local foodbanks; in 2021 Vet First donated 1,000 pounds of food.

The course is a cross country route around the winery property with no major hills noted; course maps are provided. Runners receive a glass of wine from a select menu, a finisher’s medal, a technical (DriFit) event shirt, and chip timing. Water stations are provided: five along the 10k (approximately at miles 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5) and two along the 5k (approximately at miles 1 and 2); Gatorade will be available at some stations. Packet pickup is available at the event; shirts are guaranteed for runners registered before April 29. Registration fees are listed as $35 for the 5k and $50 for the 10k until April 30, with higher rates after that date and an additional $5 increase on race morning. Live results will be posted online and final results with series points are posted the Monday after the race. Restrooms are available at the winery.
