Willard 5K Fun Run

Willow 5K Fun Run and Mini Loop

The Willard PTO organizes this annual event in River Forest, Illinois. The event is open to participants of all ages and abilities, including both runners and walkers. The course is situated near the Willard playground and Constitution Park, providing a setting for local physical activity.

Participants can choose from the following activity distances:

• 5 km: A 2-loop course that begins and ends near the playground on Franklin Street.
• 1/4 mile: A Mini Loop designed for children in first grade and younger.

Registration for the 5 km distance automatically includes participation in the kids Mini Loop, allowing families to take part in one or both segments without separate entries. Each registrant receives a race bib, a t-shirt, and a finisher's medal. There is an option to decline the t-shirt during the registration process, in which case that portion of the fee is donated to the PTO.

Pre-event materials, including t-shirts and bibs, are available for collection at Willard on the Thursday and Friday preceding the event. There is also an opportunity to pick up these items on the morning of the run. The flat registration fee applies to all participants plus processing fees.
