TRUSS Wines 5k Wine Run
The TRUSS Wines 5k Wine Run takes place at TRUSS Wines Bowstring Vineyard in Paso Robles, CA (8800 Vineyard Dr.). The event offers a chip timed 5k run and a Volunteer Then Run option, and results are posted online by J3 Timing.
The course is a two lap cross country style route that runs through the winery landscape and is described as suitable for both runners and walkers. Packet pickup is race day only and opens one hour before the event. Free race photos are available for download after the event.
Registration for the 5k includes a super soft ring spun cotton T shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal that doubles as a wine stopper, a chip timed race bib, and a pour of wine. A virtual participation option is offered and packets can be shipped for an additional fee.
Age group awards are offered in ten year categories spanning youth through 80 and over, with custom awards for top finishers in each category. Competitive runners must start with the first group to be eligible for age group awards. Minors may participate with a discounted registration; minors do not receive the wine glass or wine pour and must be accompanied by someone 21 or older.
