About the race
Wildcoast Wildrun 2027 is a three-stage running journey covering 112 km along the Southern Transkei Wild coast of South Africa, between Kei Mouth and Hole-in-the-Wall. The event takes place from 16 to 20 September 2027 and traverses beaches, grass headlands and coastal forests within the rural homeland of the isiXhosa people.
The event is a fully supported, linear route with different start and finish locations. Entry includes four nights shared accommodation, all main meals from dinner on arrival to breakfast on departure, a numbered race bag and race merchandise, three litres of bottled drinking water per day, one fully provisioned aid station per day, medical and race support, and a race medal. Optional extras listed by the organiser include transfers to and from the start and finish, massage therapy, and medical evacuation insurance.
Two entry options are offered with published prices per person: a couples double bed option and an individual sharing option. The organiser’s refund and substitution policy sets a 20% non-refundable deposit, refunds of 80% for cancellations before 30 April 2027, substitutions only from 01 May to 31 July 2027, and no refunds or substitutions from 01 August 2027 until the event.
