About the race
Wildcoast Wildrun 2027 is a three stage, 112 km running journey along the Southern Transkei Wild Coast in South Africa between Kei Mouth and Hole in the Wall. The event runs from 16 to 20 September 2027 and traverses beaches, rolling headlands and coastal forests that pass through rural isiXhosa homelands. The Wildcoast Wildrun is a fully supported linear event with different start and finish locations. Entry includes four nights shared accommodation and all main meals from dinner on arrival to breakfast on departure.
Race services provided are a numbered race bag with merchandise, three litres of bottled drinking water per day, one fully provisioned aid station per day, medical and race support, and a race medal. Optional extras are transfers to the start and from the finish, massage therapy, and medical evacuation insurance. Two entry options are listed: individual sharing and couples in a double bed, with different prices and associated booking fees. The cancellation policy notes a 20 percent non refundable deposit of the full entry fee, partial refunds available before 30 April 2027, substitutions allowed between 01 May and 31 July 2027, and no refunds or substitutions from 01 August 2027 until the event.
