The Dolphin Spotter Trail Run
The Dolphin Spotter Trail Run takes place on Sunday 27 September 2026 at the Morgan Bay Hotel in Gxarha on the Wild Coast of the Eastern Cape. The event uses coastal trails and rolling hills with cliff-top views and finishes at the Morgan Bay Hotel.
Distances offered:
- 35 km Trail Run, prize money over R6,000.
- 20 km Trail Run, coastal route with elevated views.
- 10 km Run/Walk, balance of challenge and scenery.
- 5 km Run/Walk, for families, walkers and social runners.
Entries submitted before 13 September receive a free event T-shirt while stocks last. Race entries include a race medal, full medical support and lucky draw prizes. Practical provisions noted for the event include shower facilities at the Morgan Bay Caravan Park and food and refreshments for sale at the Morgan Bay Hotel after the race. The route is described as professionally planned and managed.
