Wildcat Lake Triathlon
The Wildcat Lake Triathlon is a multi-discipline event held at Wildcat Lake Park in Bremerton, Washington on July 5, 2026. The event combines an open-water swim, a road cycling leg on rolling hills with available breakdown lanes, and a trail run.
Course distances are:
- 1/4 mile swim
- 16 mile road bike
- 4 mile trail run
The swim begins from knee deep water at the lake beachfront. Wetsuits are allowed when the water temperature is 85°F or less. Certified lifeguards will be positioned in kayaks for assistance and certified flaggers will manage major road intersections on the bike course. Transition handoffs for relay teams occur inside the transition area.
There are two entry options listed: an individual full triathlon priced at USD 80 and a relay option for two or three athletes priced at USD 115. Relay teams must designate swimmer, cyclist, and runner and each athlete must hold a USAT membership; one-day memberships are available.
Registration packages include a long sleeve technical T-shirt and a finisher medal. An optional pre-race pasta feed is scheduled the day before. A mandatory pre-race briefing will be held online and will be recorded. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
