Wildcat Lake Triathlon
The Wildcat Lake Triathlon is an in-person multisport event at Wildcat Lake Park in Bremerton, Washington. The course combines an open-water swim, a road cycling leg across rolling hills with breakdown lanes, and a mid-distance run.
Distance legs include:
- 1/4 mile swim in Wildcat Lake
- 16 mile road bike on rolling hills with breakdown lanes
- 4 mile run
The event offers individual and relay entries. Relay teams can be formed for two-person or three-person divisions; relay rules require each athlete to hold a USAT membership (one-day memberships are available), use the swimmer’s ankle bracelet for the full course, and perform hand-offs inside the transition area. Cyclist and runner team members must wear the bib provided in the race packet.
Participant packages include a long sleeve dry-release technical T-shirt and a finisher medal. A pasta feed is offered as part of the event’s food options. Wetsuits are permitted when water temperature is 85°F or less. Certified lifeguards will be on the water in kayaks and certified flaggers will manage major road intersections.
Registration offers are listed with prices ranging from about USD 40 to USD 80, including distinct options for full individual entries and relay teams. Race packet pickup and additional event logistics are provided before race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
