Wild Run 5K

The Wild Run 5K is a running race organized by Heart of Piedmont Wildlife in observance of World Wildlife Day. The event takes place at Southern Revere Cellars in Louisa, Virginia. The course leads participants through the fields and trails of a farm environment located at 1100 E Jack Jouett Road.

Participants are encouraged to wear costumes representing their favorite animals for the duration of the run. The event features a single distance:

  • 5 km running race

Every registered participant receives a t-shirt as part of their entry. In terms of competition, the top five female finishers and the top five male finishers are awarded medals. The race route occupies rural terrain consisting of open fields and off-road trails. Registration for the event closes on May 2, 2026.
