Chilly Chili 5K 2027
The Bloomsday Road Runners Club presents a 5K road race on January 23, 2027 at the Moran Prairie Grange, 6030 S Palouse Hwy, Spokane WA 99223. The race uses a gun start and a chip timed finish. The course begins in the Grange parking lot, turns right onto 61st Ave heading west, left on S. Freya St south to 65th Ave, right on 65th west to S. Regal Rd, then left south. Runners descend a hill and return up to a turnaround at the top, where a water station is located, before retracing the same course back to the Grange. The facility is heated.
Awards include overall 1st place Male and Female, age group awards for first through third place for Male and Female in these groups: 0-7, 8-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+. Cross Country Team awards and running team chili cook-off awards for places one through four will be presented at a post-race awards ceremony. Cinnamon rolls and hot and cold drinks will be available during the awards and chili cook-off.
Registration information is listed by the organizer with online and day-of fees of $25 and $30 respectively, and specific registration open and close dates. The BRRC is a nonprofit and states that net proceeds support its community mission and local high schools.
