Wild Hybrid Wales
Wild Hybrid Wales takes place at Margam Country Park, situated between Cardiff and Swansea. The event features an outdoor hybrid workout environment using the trail paths that wind through the parkland, gardens, and woodland areas. The park is home to a free-roaming deer herd which competitors may see during their activity.
The event offers several individual participation options:
- WILD HYBRID SOLO - A hybrid workout combining various physical disciplines.
- 5km Ruck Run - A trail run with a mandatory weighted pack.
- 10km Ruck Run - A longer trail run with a mandatory weighted pack.
For the Ruck Run categories, male competitors must carry a 10kg pack and female competitors must carry a 7kg pack. Participants are required to provide their own equipment, and all packs are weighed at registration to ensure they meet the weight requirements.
The event utilizes live chip timing provided by Timing Up North to track progress. All finishers receive merchandise and products from event sponsors. Prizes are awarded for those finishing in the first, second, and third positions in each category. Participants must be at least 16 years old on the day of the event.
