Event Overview
The Wild Hybrid Lake District event takes place at Grasmere in the Lake District. The event area is located at the Grasmere Sports Ground. This day is for paired entries only.
Location and Setting
The event is held at The Showfield on Stock Lane in Grasmere, Cumbria. The area is set alongside Grasmere Lake and surrounded by fells and mountains.
Course and Activities
Participants tackle five functional stations during the event. There are two running routes:
- A 1 km run around the sportsground and surrounding trail paths.
- A 5 km run that completes a lap around Grasmere Lake.
Event Details
Participants will receive their individual start time via email one week before the event. Timing is provided through live chip timing by Timing Up North. All finishers receive unique merchandise and products from event sponsors. Prizes are awarded for first to third place in each category.
Practical Information
Parking is available on-site for £4, weather permitting, or there is ample public parking nearby. Event photography can be purchased from partners after the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
