Wild Hybrid Lake District - Grasmere Solos
Wild Hybrid Lake District - Grasmere Solos is an outdoor running event held at The Showfield, Stock Lane, Grasmere, Cumbria, LA22 9SL. The venue sits alongside Grasmere Lake and is surrounded by fells and mountains. The event area is at the Grasmere Sports Ground and features five functional stations.
Distances and formats include:
- 1 km around the sportsground and surrounding trail paths
- 5 km lap of Grasmere Lake
- 5 km or 10 km ruck runs with weighted packs
The solo entry is listed at £60. Competitors in the ruck runs must bring their own pack; packs are weighed at registration. Pack weight guidelines given in the event information specify 10 kg for men and 7 kg for women. Live chip timing is provided by Timing Up North. Routes are to be confirmed.
All finishers receive Wild Hybrid merchandise and products from event sponsors. Prizes are awarded for first to third positions in each standard category. Parking may be available on site for a fee when weather permits, with public parking nearby. Event photography is available to purchase from event partners after the event.
