Wild Horse Brewing Co. Llandudno Triathlon & Duathlon 2027
The Wild Horse Brewing Co. Llandudno Triathlon & Duathlon returns for 2027 in Llandudno, Conwy. Now in its seventh year, the event is set on the Victorian seaside town and the Great Orme coastline. The course uses sea swims beside the town pier, closed roads for the bike section around Marine Drive, and a run along the promenade with spectator areas.
Races on the day include sprint, standard triathlon and a standard duathlon with the following formats:
- Sprint: Sea swim 750 m, bike 17.5 km, run 5 km
- Standard: Sea swim 1500 m, bike 34.75 km, run 9.4 km
- Standard Duathlon: run 5 km, bike 34.75 km, run 9.4 km
Event facilities include an event village with music, commentary, shopping and food, family-friendly finishes, on-course marshals and pick up vehicles, and unique finisher mementos that reflect local history. Timing is by chip with live online results. The event is bilingual with signs, registration and commentary provided in English and Welsh.
A Closed Road Triathlon Series option links this event with Triathlon Y Bala. Series season passes guarantee entry to both events, include an exclusive series hoody for pass holders, provide series results, and offer a choice of sprint or standard series entry.
