Wild Horse Brewing Co. Llandudno Triathlon & Duathlon 2026
The event is the fifth edition and takes place in June in Llandudno, Conwy. The multisport event uses sea swims by the Victorian pier, a closed-road bike route around Marine Drive, and a run along the promenade. In 2026 the event hosts the Welsh Triathlon Super Series Stage 3 (Sprint distance), the Welsh Triathlon National Championships (Sprint distance), and a World Standard Distance Duathlon Qualifier. The event is bilingual, with signs, registration and commentary available in English and Welsh.
Race distances and formats
- Sprint - sea swim 750 m, bike 17.5 km, run 5 km
- Standard - sea swim 1500 m, bike 34.75 km, run 9.4 km
- Standard Duathlon - run 5 km, bike 34.75 km, run 9.4 km
Event services and season pass
The event uses chip timing with live online results. On-course support includes marshals, signage and pick-up vehicles. The event village offers music, commentary, shopping and food. Finishers receive event mementos. A Closed Road Triathlon Season Pass covers entry to both Llandudno and Triathlon Y Bala, includes a series hoody and series results, offers a choice of sprint or standard series, and is limited to 100 places.
