Wigton Road Runners 10K
The Wigton Road Runners 10K takes place on 18 October 2026 with race headquarters at Barton Laws, Wigton CA7 9QY. The event is a certified course measured by the Association of UK Course Measurers and covers a single 10 km loop.
The route starts close to Barton Laws and finishes in Phoenix Park, a short walk from the start, following footpaths and quiet undulating country roads. Road surfaces are generally in acceptable condition; runners should take care at turns and follow marshal instructions. Drinks will be provided at approximately 3 miles and at the finish. Toilets and first aid services are available on site. A full course risk assessment, route maps, the race permit and the measurement certificate will be displayed at event HQ in accordance with UKA rules.
Online entry is charged at £18.00 plus fees, with a £2 online discount for affiliated club runners. Registration closes 17 October 2026 (online) and race numbers can be collected on the day. Every competitor will receive a medal; there will be no prizes and no refunds. Proceeds for this edition will be split between Watchtree Nature Reserve and Wigton Youth Station.
