Wigton Road Runners 10k
The Wigton Road Runners 10k takes place on Sunday 18 October 2026 in Wigton, England. Race headquarters is at Barton Laws, CA7 9QY.
The event is a single race of 10 km on a measured and certified course by the Association of UK Course Measurers. The route is a single loop using footpaths and quiet undulating country roads. The run starts near Barton Laws and finishes in Phoenix Park, a short walk from the start. Road surfaces are generally okay; runners should take care at turns and follow marshal instructions.
Facilities on race day include toilets, drinks provided at approximately 3 miles and at the finish, and first aid services. A full course risk assessment will be on display at event HQ together with route maps, the race permit and the measurement certificate in accordance with UKA rules. Registration and race number collection take place on race day.
Affiliated club runners receive a £2 discount when entering online. The entry fee is £18 plus fees and there were 128 remaining places listed. Every competitor will receive a medal. There will be no prizes and no refunds. Live results will be published online. Proceeds this year will be split between Watchtree Nature Reserve and Wigton Youth Station.
