Wigton Road Runners 10k
The Wigton Road Runners 10k takes place in Wigton on Sunday 18 October 2026 with Race HQ at Barton Laws, CA7 9QY. The event uses an officially measured and certified accurate course by the Association of UK Course Measurers.
The route is a single loop that uses footpaths and quiet undulating country roads. The finish is in Phoenix Park, a short walk from the start near Barton Laws. Road surfaces are described as generally okay. Participants are asked to take care at turns and to heed marshals where present.
Facilities and services include toilets, first aid cover, and drinks provided at approximately 3 miles and at the finish. A race safety briefing will take place before the event and a full course risk assessment will be displayed at the event HQ together with maps of the route, the race permit, and the measurement certificate in accordance with UKA rules.
Online entry details note an entry fee and a discount for affiliated club runners. Every competitor will receive a medal but there will be no prizes and no refunds. Live results will be provided after the race. Proceeds for this edition will be split between Watchtree Nature Reserve and Wigton Youth Station.
