Wicked Winter Rogaine - Stonyhurst, Greta Valley
Wicked Winter Rogaine is a rogaining event held on Sunday 9 August 2026 in Stonyhurst, Greta Valley. Participants navigate by map and compass on foot through terrain that ranges from open farmland to hilly forest, visiting checkpoints that carry different point values.
Teams plan routes to visit as many checkpoints as possible within a set time limit. Teams normally consist of two to six members, and shorter-duration events may allow solo competitors. Team members must stay within earshot of one another.

Competition is organised by gender class (men, women, mixed) and by age category (open, junior, veteran, super veteran). Children aged 12 years and under must be accompanied by a paying adult. Entry is by online pre-entry with specified deadlines; a late entry fee may apply and refunds are available on a sliding scale before the event.
Mandatory equipment includes a polypropylene base layer, waterproof jacket, hat and gloves, good footwear and at least one litre of water. Teams must also carry a whistle, pencil, first aid kit, one cellphone and one compass. The event code of conduct emphasises respect for landowners, closing gates, avoiding disturbance to stock, no dogs or fires, and reporting any damage.
