Event Details
The Wicked Wine Run takes place at Great Lawn Park in Denver, Colorado. The event features two separate activities: a 5K run/walk and a 1K walk. Participants must be 21 years of age or older.
Distances
The event offers two distance options:
- 5K Run/Walk: A timed event with a 90-minute completion window.
- 1K Tasting Walk: A shorter, non-competitive walk.
What's Included
Registration for the 1K includes an event t-shirt, an event bib, access to the after-party, and wine tastings at three stations along the course with a fourth tasting at the finish line in a commemorative wine glass. Registration for the 5K includes an event t-shirt, an event bib, a finisher medal, a free glass of wine at the finish line, and access to the after-party.
Event Day
The gates and packet pickup open at 9:00 AM. The 5K starts first, followed by the 1K walk later in the morning. The event concludes at 2:00 PM. On-site amenities include food trucks, games, and music. Participants are welcome to bring foldable chairs or blankets. There is a $20 parking fee at the venue. A spectator ticket is available for purchase on-site, which includes an etched wine glass and a bracelet for purchasing wine.
Registration and Logistics
Packet pickup is available the day before the event or on race day for an additional $5 fee. There is also an option to have the race packet mailed for a $20 fee. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
