The event takes place at Great Lawn Park in Denver, Colorado, at 101 N Yosemite St. It offers two course options: a short tasting walk and a longer run or walk. The 5K can be completed as a run or as a walk.

1K tickets include an event shirt, an event bib, access to three one ounce wine tastings along the course and a fourth tasting at the finish in a provided wine glass, and access to the after party. 5K tickets include an event shirt, an event bib, a finisher medal, a free glass of wine at the finish line, and access to the after party.
On site amenities include food trucks, sampling stations, aid and water stations, merchandise tents, games, dance and costume contests, and a finish line wine service. The 5K course has two water stations along the route and an additional station at the finish. A spectator tasting only ticket is available and includes an etched wine glass and a bracelet that permits wine purchases during the event.
All participants and spectators must be 21 plus and will undergo age verification at packet pickup or on race day if packets were mailed. Packet pickup details will be posted two weeks prior; a mailed packet delivery option is available for an additional fee and includes automatic check in.
