Event Details
The Wicked Wine Run takes place at Cantigny Park in Wheaton, Illinois. Cantigny Park is a public space with historic grounds originally dedicated by Robert R. McCormick. The event offers two separate distance options: a 5K run/walk and a 1K walk.
What's Included
The 5K registration includes a 2026 event shirt, a finisher medal, a glass of wine at the finish line, an event bib, and access to the after-party. The 1K registration includes a 2026 event shirt, three 1-ounce wine tastings along the course, a fourth tasting at the finish line in a personal wine glass, an event bib, and access to the after-party.
Event Day
Activities include an after-party with music, food available for purchase from trucks, games, and dance and costume contests where participants can win event merchandise or wine. Separate spectator tickets are available, which include an etched wine glass and a bracelet for purchasing wine at the event. Parking at the venue may cost up to $20 per vehicle.
Logistics
All participants and spectators must be 21 years of age or older, and ID verification is required. Race packets can be picked up either the day before the event or on race day for an additional $5 fee. There is also an option to have the race packet mailed for a $20 fee, available until two weeks prior to the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
