HCA Wicked 5K and Wee Wicked Dash
This event is a community FUNdraiser that benefits the Hopkinton Center for the Arts. It takes place in Hopkinton, Massachusetts, at 98 Hayden Rowe St. Proceeds support arts education, performances, exhibitions, scholarships, and community programs; the Hopkinton Center for the Arts is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on fostering joy, belonging, and lifelong learning through the arts.
The main offering is a relatively flat 5K walk/run course that uses traffic-free roads and groomed gravel trails. Costumes are encouraged and there will be food, games, character interaction along the route, and prizes awarded for fastest times, best costumes, and highest fundraisers. Participants are automatically set up as FUNdraisers; fundraising is optional.
A separate youth activity, the Wee Wicked Dash, is a short 100 m fun run for young runners. Children who finish receive a mini pumpkin and there is a costume parade after the run. Registration fees are listed for each event. The overall format combines running, community fundraising, family activities, and seasonal costumes in a fall event setting.
