Event Overview
The Wichita St Patrick's Day 5K takes place on Sunday, March 15, 2026. It is the fifteenth annual edition of this St. Patrick's Day-themed event. The main event is held at 1865 W Museum Blvd in Wichita, Kansas.
Distances and Events
The event includes three separate activities:
- 5K - A chip-timed run/walk.
- Kids fun run - For children aged 8 and under, with a distance of 50-200 yards based on age.
- Virtual 5K - A remote participation option.
Participant Information
For the 5K, registration is open for individuals or teams of three or more. All participants in this distance will receive a finisher's medal and a pint glass. A costume contest is part of the event, encouraging festive attire. Awards are given to the top three finishers in each age group. An event shirt is available for purchase during registration.
For the Kids fun run, participants receive a shirt and a ribbon.
Logistics
Packet pickup is available on the days before the event at Fartlek's Running Shop and Smoothie Stop (535 W Douglas Ave #130), as well as on race day. Prices for the events increase after March 13, 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
