Whites 100 on September 11, 2026 in Shelburne, NH is a logistically supported trip that helps clients complete the 100 miles of the Appalachian Trail as it traverses the White Mountains north to south. This is not a race; there is no timing and there are no awards.

White Mountain Ski Company operates the trip under a U.S. Forest Service Outfitter and Guide special-use permit, which allows the provision of supported access through designated Wilderness areas.

Support includes transportation to the start and from the finish, and transport of each participant's 17-gallon supply bin to five designated support stations along the route, with resupply access at those road crossings. Organizers do not provide on-trail guiding, pacing, or supervision - participants travel the route self-paced and are solely responsible for navigation, gear, and decisions.

There is a $200 bin deposit. When a participant starts the trip they keep the 17-gallon supply bin and receive a refund of $183 after the $17 bin cost is retained. If a participant does not start, any retained bin fees are donated in equal parts to the Appalachian Mountain Club and the Appalachian Trail Conservancy. Registration closed August 1, 2026.

All participants are briefed on Leave No Trace ethics, travel in designated Wilderness, and mountain safety, and must carry required gear at all times, including a Garmin inReach satellite communication device.
