BIG DAY RUN OFF, May 3, 2026
BIG DAY RUN OFF is a trail half marathon held in Gorham, NH, with the start and finish located in the parking lot of Big Day Brewing. The course is approximately 13.1 mi and is mostly singletrack trail on the Coös Trails Network, with several short non‑trail sections: a 0.1 mi paved connector, a 0.6 mi gated gravel road, and a 0.6 mi woods road used seasonally as a snowmobile route.
Runners should expect shared intersections and short segments where outbound and inbound routes overlap; these areas will be marked. Participants may cross paths with mountain bikers, hikers, walkers, and other runners at various points on the course. Total elevation gain is 1,508 ft with elevation loss of 1,464 ft. There are tentative plans for aid stations near mile 5 and mile 9.
On race day there is ample parking at Big Day Brewing. The venue will provide access to facilities and water, and water, coffee, and snacks will be available before and after the event. Bib pickup is available the morning of the event starting around 9am. Day of registration may be accepted if spare bibs remain.
Proceeds support the Coös Cycling Club's stewardship efforts on the Coös Trails Network. After the race participants receive a voucher good for one beer and sandwich combo; podium and awards will follow once enough finishers are recorded.
