About the race
The Whitehouse Multi-Sport Festival is held at the Nona France Quarry in Blue Creek Metropark, Whitehouse, Ohio. The event offers multiple race formats: a sprint triathlon, a duathlon, and a three person super sprint relay. The swim takes place in the quarry, the bike segments use the roads to and from the park, and the run follows trails inside the park.
Distances for the main events:
- Triathlon: 400 meter swim, 10.5 mile bike, 5k run
- Duathlon: 0.9 mile run, 10.5 mile bike, 5k run
- Super sprint relay: 200 meter swim, 4.5 mile bike, 0.75 mile run
The super sprint relay is structured so each team member completes all three legs before handing off to the next teammate. The relay format is modeled after the relay used in the 2021 Summer Olympic Games and is scheduled after the individual events, allowing athletes to compete in both if desired.
This event is sanctioned by USA Triathlon, and age group standings are applied and submitted. Teams may participate in the Trillium Team Competition by creating or joining a team during registration at no additional charge. Packet pickup requires a government issued ID or a USA Triathlon membership card; pickup locations include Cycle Werks and the transition area parking lot.
