Whitefish Trail Blazer
The Whitefish Trail Blazer is a multi-day trail running event held in Whitefish, Montana. The event features a variety of distances held over a single weekend, with different courses starting from Whitefish Mountain Resort and the Whitefish Legacy Center.
On the first day, the 50k ultramarathon takes place on single and double-track trails. The course includes over 6,300 feet of elevation gain and reaches the summit of Big Mountain. Participants pass through the start and finish area at mile 10 and mile 26, providing opportunities for spectators to view the race. There is a 10-hour cutoff time for this distance.
The second day features shorter distances that explore the Beaver Lakes area of the Whitefish Trail. These courses include varying elevation gains: approximately 2,000 feet for the Half Marathon, 750 feet for the 10k+, and 500 feet for the 5k+. A Family Fun Run is also available.

The event provides fully-stocked aid stations across the courses, offering water, nutrition products, and snacks. Participants receive a race t-shirt and sports nutrition products. Post-race celebrations at the finish include a meal and beverages. Awards are presented to top finishers, including the top five overall male and female runners in the 50k.
