The Whitefish Marathon, Half Marathon & The Wave 5K is scheduled for May 16, 2026 in Whitefish, Montana. The event is presented by Hammer Nutrition. Organizers expect over 1,600 registered runners in 2026. The race has received the Road Runners Club of America Marathon State Championship designation four times. Course and location
All three distances use Depot Park as the common start and finish area and share the same finish line. The 5K course separates from the marathon and half marathon just after mile one. The marathon and half marathon run together for the first 13 miles and split at mile 13. The course routes include views of nearby mountains; the event is held just outside Glacier National Park.
