Event Details
The Whitefish Lake Triathlon is a sprint-distance event held in Whitefish, Montana. It takes place at City Beach on Lakeside Blvd.
Course Information
The event consists of a 0.5-mile open water swim, a 20-kilometer bike ride, and a 5-kilometer run. The swim is a point-to-point course in Whitefish Lake, starting and finishing at Whitefish City Beach. The bike course is an out-and-back route traveling along Whitefish Lake, described as mostly flat and fast but with 4 miles of hills. The run is a 5K course consisting of two laps that also start and end at the City Beach transition area.
Two event formats are offered:
- Sprint Tri (individual)
- Sprint Tri Team Relay
Registration is open to participants aged 13 to 99. A separate beginner clinic with an eight-week training plan is also available for an additional fee. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
