Course, rules and logistics
The course is a one-loop 5K that passes by Lake Tranquility and is marked with signs and flagging tape. The description notes there is some elevation. Tastings are optional and offered every half mile along the course, for a total of six tastings. Organizers plan to provide three wines and three whiskies; specific selections are not disclosed in advance. All participants must be 21 or older. Each participant receives a custom wristband at packet pickup and must wear it on the course to access tastings; the wristband is exchanged for a bottle at the finish. There will be no alcohol sales at the event. There are two aid stations supplying water - one at the halfway point and one at the finish. No awards are given for overall placing.
