Event Overview
Where Will Color Take You? is a fundraising event on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. It benefits Youth Challenge (YC), an organization that connects young people with physical disabilities and teen volunteers for adapted sports and recreation. The 2026 edition coincides with Youth Challenge's 50th anniversary.
Events
The event offers several participation options:
- 5K run: A timed event using chip timing.
- 1-Mile Walk & Roll: An untimed event.
- Virtual Participant: A remote participation option for the 5K or 1-Mile.
- Kids' Dash: A separate, shorter run for children.
- Non Participant Supporter: A registration for spectators to cheer.
Strollers are permitted at the event, but dogs are not. There will not be a handcycle division in 2026.
Registration and Inclusions
Registration is tiered, with lower prices for participants aged 15 and under. An early bird pricing period closes on March 1. General registration includes zoo admission, a race t-shirt (if registered by May 29), post-race refreshments, and access to a DJ, photobooth, and games. Awards are given for top finishers in the 5K run across multiple age groups.
Virtual participants receive a family fun packet and an event t-shirt (if registered by May 30) and can submit results until June 27.
Logistics
