Event Overview
The Where Will Color Take You? event takes place on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo in Cleveland, Ohio. It is presented by The Sherwin-Williams Women's Club to benefit the non-profit organization Youth Challenge. In 2026, Youth Challenge celebrates its 50th anniversary of providing adapted sports and recreation for young people with physical disabilities in Northeast Ohio.
Event Activities
The event offers several participation options:
- 5K Run: A chip-timed race.
- 1-Mile Walk & Roll: An untimed, inclusive activity.
- Virtual Participant: For those who cannot attend in person.
- Non-Participant Supporter: A registration option for spectators.
- Kids' Dash: A separate activity for children.
Strollers are allowed on the course, but dogs are not permitted. There is no handcycle division for this year's event.
Registration and Inclusions
Standard registration includes zoo admission, a race t-shirt for those registered by a specific date, participation in the Kids' Dash, post-race refreshments, awards for top 5K finishers, and access to a DJ, photobooth, and games. There is also a separate supporter wristband available for purchase for spectators. Early packet pickup is available on Friday, June 12, 2026, in Westlake, Ohio.
Awards are given for the overall male and female 5K runners and the top three in multiple age groups. Virtual participants can submit their results until June 27, though these times are not counted toward the official 5K awards. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
