Wheathampstead 10k & 2k Fun Run : 17 May 2026
The Wheathampstead event brings a main race and a family fun run to Memorial Hall and Marford Playing Fields in Wheathampstead, Hertfordshire. The programme takes place on 17 May 2026 and features off-road routes set in the local countryside.
Distances
- 10 km - off-road course through Hertfordshire countryside; minimum age 15
- 2 km - circular off-road course for families, runners and walkers; children under 7 must be accompanied by a paying adult
An inter-school 2 km challenge is included, with schools competing for prizes. Race headquarters and baggage drop are located at Marford Hall. Event extras listed by the organiser include barbecue, drinks, cakes, fairground rides, massage services and stalls.
Entry fees vary by distance and booking period. A booking fee of an additional 6% applies at checkout. Proceeds from the event support Beech Hyde Primary School & Nursery. If the event is cancelled a deferral option is offered; refunds are not available but entries can be transferred to another runner until 7 May 2026.
