Community Run in Brandon
The Wheat City Run is a new community running event in Brandon, Manitoba. The event offers four distances: a 0.5 Mile Fun Run, a 5K, a 10K, and a Half Marathon. All routes start and finish at Stanley Park in downtown Brandon and take participants through some of the city's urban streets and neighbourhoods.
100% of event profits are donated to Samaritan House Ministries, supporting local food security and homelessness initiatives in the Brandon community. All finishers receive a race shirt and a medal. A charity BBQ is available for spectators.
