Whakatāne Bush Half Marathon 2026
The Whakatāne Bush Half Marathon returns for its 3rd annual running on Saturday 18 July 2026 at 71 Maraetotara Road, Ōhope, New Zealand. The event offers multiple distance options and runs along coastal and inland sections near Whakatāne and Ōhope.

The course starts from the shores of Ōhope and includes native bush tracks, meandering gravel roads, and smooth sealed stretches. The route features coastal and forest scenery and passes areas with views of Whakatāne and Ōhope.
Every participant who finishes any distance receives a finisher medal. Standard entry and late entry pricing are listed separately for each distance: Half marathon standard NZ$50 and late NZ$60; 10k standard NZ$30 and late NZ$40; 5k standard NZ$20 and late NZ$30.
